Episode 58- Rob Fickett 2024 Season Recap Part 2

Episode 58 is the final part of a 2 part series in which OMM Team member Rob Fickett shares his 2024 guiding season. Rob shares some challenges encountered along the way in his October season in great detail before then going into the incredible story of perseverance guiding a late season cow moose hunt. While a cow hunt may not garner the excitement associated with a trophy bull harvest; this one was special. The cow harvested ended up being a collared and tagged moose that was originally tagged multiple years ago as a part of Maine's moose population/winter tick research project. The story of this cow and the immense knowledge she shared with our biologists is amazing and is a story OMM is proud to be a part of.
